3rd 7pts Singleton Old School World Championship!

🇬🇧 The Admins group of 7pts Singleton Old School and the Liga Madrileña de Old School join forces to organize the erd 7pts Singleton Old School World Championship!
It will be held on the weekend of July 14, 15 and 16 in Madrid, Spain and at the Tempest Store (one of the stores with the largest Old School stock in Europe and home of the Madrid Old School League). The event will have a maximum capacity of 60 people and you can register from now on the registration form if you are already sure that you are going to come (if you are not sure, please do not register yet since it helps us to control the capacity).

🇪🇸 El grupo de Admins de 7pts Singleton Old School y la Liga Madrileña de Old School unen sus fuerzas para organizar el 3rd 7pts Singleton Old School World Championship!
Se celebrará el fin de semana del 14, 15 y 16 de julio en Madrid, España y en Tempest Store (una de las tiendas con más stock de Old School de Europa y hogar de la Liga Madrileña de Old School).
El evento contará con un aforo máximo de 60 personas y puedes inscribirte desde ya en el formulario de inscripción si ya estás seguro de que vas a venir (si no estás seguro te rogamos que no te inscribas todavía puesto que nos sirve para controlar el aforo).

FRIDAY July 14: Drink Beer and play 7pts SIDE EVENT

🇬🇧

  • We will meet to eat at our reference bar, JPB, near the Tempest Store and play the 7pts SIDE EVENT at 17:00 pm in Tempest Store
  • It will be the only tournament that allows proxys so test your new more freaky deck!
  • Later you can go to know the center of Madrid if people who come from outside Madrid are interested.

  • Quedaremos a comer en nuestro bar de referencia JPB cerca de Tempest Store y jugaremos el torneo paralelo de 7pts a las 17:00 en Tempest Store.
  • Será el único torneo que permita proxys por lo tanto aprovecha para probar alguna frikada nueva!
  • Más tarde se puede ir a conocer el centro de Madrid si la gente que venga de fuera de Madrid está interesada.

SATURDAY July 15: 7pts Singleton 3rd World Championship MAIN EVENT

🇬🇧 THE TOURNAMENT 🇬🇧

Swiss (or Swiss -1 depending on attendance) + Top 8

  • Registration / Fees: 10 a.m. in Tempest Store / 25€
  • Rules: 7pts Singleton
  • No proxies allowed, but yes CE / IE and all cards allowed by the EC reprint policy (like gold borders).
  • All rounds (including Top) will last 50 minutes and if it will be a draw, we will use EC’s no draw policy (Chaos Orb flip tiebreaker) to promote fair and fast play.
  • MANDATORY TO PLAY:
    • Send your deck photo to ligaoldschoolmadrid@gmail.com before the tournament with the subject in the mail: 7pts Deck – Your Name/Companion Nickname – Name of the deck
    • Have the MTG Companion app installed with an account. We will organize the entire tournament from there to speed it up and no one will be allowed to play who does not have it installed (thanks! 👏🏻)
  • The atmosphere of the tournament will be 100% Old School: relaxed and non-competitive. An unfriendly or aggressive attitude could lead to tournament penalties.
  • We will stop to eat and drink beer in the best Old School environment possible. 😃🍺
  • The tournament will be completely broadcast. Soon we will share the link.

🇬🇧 THE PRIZES AND RAFFLES 🇬🇧

  • During the games we will raffle for all small and beautiful Old School cards with the 7pts Logo.
  • An Island of Wak Wak, Hurricane (Beta), Island (Beta), Ball Lightning (The Dark) and Chain Lightning (Legends) will be raffled by pure lottery (at the end of the Swiss) among all participants.
  • The winner will get an Legends Divine Offering with a beautiful Singleton 7pts Singleton alter.
  • The winner and Top according to attendance will receive Tempest Store credit that can be use in the store or be discounted in future MKM purchases (all registrations will be used for the prize cards and raffle, and to distribute 50% for the first classified and 50% for more raffles, our intention is that everything will be shared between the players).
  • The Most Spicy Deck (chosen by the organization) will take an Antiquities The Rack with a Spicy Deck 7pts alter.
  • The Best 0pts Deck will take a Witchhunter (The Dark) with a 7ps alter.
  • The player who has traveled the farthest (accredited with his plane ticket) will receive an Arabian Desert altered by the 7pts staff.
  • We hope that all players attend mainly for the fun, the brotherhood with other OS communities, the glory of being the 7pts World Champion and, secondarily, for the prizes.

  • Inscripción: 10h en Tempest Store / 25€
  • Reglas: 7 puntos Singleton
  • No se permiten proxies, pero sí CE / IE y todas las cartas permitidas por la política de reimpresión de EC (como las cartas de borde dorado).
  • Las rondas (incluídas las del top) durarán 50 minutos y, si se trata de un empate, utilizaremos la política de no empate de EC (desempate por lanzamiento de Chaos Orb) para promover el juego limpio y rápido.
  • OBLIGATORIO PARA JUGAR:
    • Envía la foto de tu mazo a ligaoldschoolmadrid@gmail.com antes del torneo con el asunto en el correo: Deck 7pts – Tu Nombre/Nik del Companion – Nombre del mazo
    • Tener instalada la aplicación MTG Companion con una cuenta operativa. A partir de ahí organizaremos todo el torneo para agilizarlo y no podrá jugar nadie que no lo tenga instalado (¡gracias! 👏🏻)
  • El ambiente del torneo será 100% Old School: relajado y no competitivo. Una actitud poco amistosa o agresiva podría dar lugar a sanciones en el torneo.
  • Pararemos a comer y beber cerveza en el mejor ambiente Old School posible. 😃🍺
  • El torneo será completamente retransmitido en streaming. Próximamente compartiremos el enlace.

🇪🇸 LOS PREMIOS Y SORTEOS 🇪🇸

  • Durante las partidas sortearemos para todos pequeñas y bonitas cartas Old School con el logo de 7pts.
  • Se sorteará por sorteo puro (al final del suizo) entre todos los participantes una Isla de Wak Wak, un Hurricane de Beta, una Isla de Beta, una Bola de Rayos de The Dark y un Chain Lightning de Antiquities.
  • El ganador obtendrá un Divine Offering de Legends con una bonita alteración de 7pts Singleton.
  • El ganador y Top según asistencia recibirán crédito Tempest Store que podrá utilizar en la tienda o descontar en futuras compras de MKM (todas las inscripciones servirán para las cartas de premios y sorteos, y para repartir el 50% para los primeros clasificados y el 50% % para más sorteos, nuestra intención es que todo se reparta entre los jugadores).
  • El Most Spicy Deck (elegido por la organización) se llevará un Witch Hunter de The Dark con una Spicy 7pts alter.
  • El mejor deck que juegue 0 puntos ganará un The Rack de Antiquities Rojo de Beta con un alter de 7pts.
  • El jugador que haya venido de más lejos (acreditado con su billete de avión) recibirá un Desierto de Arabian con una alteración del Staff de 7pts.
  • Esperamos que todos los jugadores asistan principalmente por la diversión, la hermandad con otras comunidades OS, la gloria de ser el Campeón del Mundo 7pts y, en segundo lugar, por los premios.

  • Paladin Rules: They are a variant of the ETERNAL CENTRAL Rules but with the changes you see in the image in the ban an restricted list cards (Banned: Mind Twist and Library of Alexandria / Restricted: Strip Mine, Mishra’s Factory, Mishra’s Workshop , The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale, Maze of Ith). The rest of the rules are the same as in EC.
  • No proxies allowed, but yes CE / IE and all cards allowed by the EC reprint policy.
  • Rounds will last 50 minutes and will be maximum 5 rounds.
  • MANDATORY TO PLAY:

El resto de las reglas son las mismas que en EC.

  • El ganador y Top según asistencia recibirán crédito Tempest Store que podrá utilizar en la tienda o descontar en futuras compras de MKM (todas las inscripciones servirán para las cartas de premio y sorteo, y para repartir el 50% para los primeros clasificados y el 50% para más sorteos, nuestra intención es que todo se reparta entre los jugadores).

  • No proxies allowed, but yes CE / IE, goldborder and all cards allowed by the EC reprint policy.
  • Rounds will last 50 minutes and will be maximum 5 rounds.
  • MANDATORY TO PLAY:
    • Have the MTG Companion app installed with an account. We will organize the entire tournament from there to speed it up and no one will be allowed to play who does not have it installed (thanks! 👏🏻)
  • The atmosphere of the tournament will be 100% Old School: relaxed and non-competitive. An unfriendly or aggressive attitude could lead to tournament penalties.
  • The winner will get a Japanese Humility and another Japanese Humility will be raffle between non winers (prizes think for 8 players, with more players: more prizes and raffles).
